Active Net Album

Upload pictures
You can upload pictures to Active Net Album in two different ways:
1. Upload pictures via the Control Panel
2. Send pictures via e-mail to Active Net Album.

1. Upload pictures via the Control Panel
1. Log into your Control Panel for Active Net Album
2. Click on”Upload files”
3. If it is the first time you have tried to upload photos in this way, you will get a question asking if you want to install and use Active X-program from Persist. Click”yes”.
4. Click”choose file” or”choose folder” from the menu to choose a picture/folder to upload. When you have done this, you will find the picture that you want upload in the file list. If you want to take away some of the pictures that you have chosen, just mark the picture/s and click ‘’delete’’ or ‘’delete all’’. Please observe that you can upload a max of 10MB or 30 pictures at a time.
5. Choose which folder that you want the picture to be saved in. You can do this in the drop down menu under file manager. ”Upload pictures to folder”. If you haven’t created a folder, you can just choose to upload the pictures to the standard folder, My System Folder.
6. Click on”upload” to start the uploading.

2. Send Pictures via e-mail to Active Net Album

Ready to send pictures via e-mail to your photo album.
Click on”Photo Admin” in the menu column in the Control Panel.

Here you can choose which folder sent in pictures will be saved in. You can also choose if you will have pictures sent in from any email address you wish, or if you want, specify the e-mail addresses that can send pictures to your album.

To send in Pictures via e-mail
Send an e-mail with the picture/s attached to the e-mail address registered for the Active Net Album. If you don’t know the address, you can find it if you click on”home” in the Control Panel menu.

If you want text on the picture you are sending, then write the text in the e-mails subject header. If you attach other pictures in the same e-mail, all the pictures will get the same text.

Administer Folders
Tools to administer folders can be found under”folders” in the Control Panel. Here it shows a list over the folders that you have and also which settings apply to the folders. Here you can also set up a new folder and click on “edit” to edit settings for a folder or take away a folder.

If you click on the button “edit” for one of your folders, as shown above.

Name on folder: The name that is shown on the folder in Active Net Albums page.

Rank: Here you can change the order the folders are shown. In the example above the folder has the rank”0” and is shown first on the albums main page.

Permitted Comments: The albums visitors are permitted to comment on the pictures.

Show this Folder: If the folder will be shown for the albums visitors.

Protect this folder: Visitors will need to type in a password to see the contents in the folder.

Comment: The description that is shown for the folder.

Show Picture: The Album cover that is shown together with the description of the folder. (If you haven’t made a description for pictures, it is shown in the drop down menu as”...”)

Number of pictures per row: How many pictures per row are shown in the album.

Administer Pictures

Click on one of your folders in the left-hand margin. It now shows the pictures that you have in the folder as above.

In the area under picture you can write in the description for the picture.

Choose: Here you can mark the pictures that you will delete or move it to another folder. The buttons “Move” and “Delete” are found at the bottom of the page, under all the pictures.

Delete: You can also delete a few pictures by clicking”ok” here.

Comments: This shows how many comments you have received for the picture. Click on the digit or text bubble to see the comments.
