The customer (as per the email sent out) needs to log onto their new Active24 MyAccount ( http://myaccount.active24.com ) with their included Username\Password.
Now that the migration has been completed, mail will automatically begin flowing into those new POP accounts.
All email clients accessing those accounts must have their incoming POP server changed to exchange.active24.com so that they can retrieve mail from the new POP accounts, or they will not receive the new incoming mail.
In your email client, the usernames for each account in the email client checking mail must also be updated to the full email address which it is trying to receive mail on.
For example: info@domain.co.uk
If your Outgoing SMTP server in your mail client is currently set to smtp-1.mail.vi.net , then this must be changed to exchange.active24.com. If you are using your own SMTP server other than this, then please do not change this.
If you are only forwarding mail to an external email address (EG john@btconnect.com), then you do not need to make any changes in your email client.
If you are hosting your own mail server, or have create custom MX records within the DNS administration for your domain previously, you do not need to do anything.
