Pointing the domain to a server
When you point a domain, it will remain on the same DNS servers. The web and mail pointing to the servers you are going to use will change. To point the domain towards another server you need the IP address or the hostname of that server.
Pointing the domain to another domain or URL
To point one domain to another domain or URL, you simply choose redirect or frame-forwarding in the order form. By choosing redirect the domain/URL you point to, will appear in the address-bar in the internet browser. If you choose frame-forwarding, the domain you point will remain in the address-bar.
Subdomains / Hostnames
You can also add a subdomain/hostname to your domain. F.ex. contact.yourdomain.com. The subdomain7hostname can be pointed to an IP address, another domain or URL.
